While I was strolling with Duffy down Pasir Ris Farmway; one of my ultimate favourite places to hangout with her, where we can get up and close with other fluffy friends…

We chanced upon this welcoming transparent glass house nestled in the gardens, separating itself slightly from the many pet shops (specialising with puppies) and we decided to take a peep into it!

OH MY GOD. It’s the Rabbits’ Head Quarters!

I think my heart skipped a few beats the moment she lied so peacefully on me!

And this fatty holland lop acts just like a little baby:

Let’s take a tour about these eye candies, shall we?

The kind people of RHQ shared with me that RHQ is actually the home of winning rabbits!

RHQ’s foundation lines are imported from reputable breeders around the world. These show quality rabbits are a fancy range that has distinct yet aesthetically enhancing appearance (As you can tell from the pictures. They are absolutely GORGEOUS!)

Each of these rabbits meet the “standard of perfection” defined in the ARBA’s (American rabbit breeder Association)

Don’t be mistaken though, show quality rabbits are NOT only for serious hobbyists! They do great as a domestic pet for family with kids due to the selective breeding (standards as well as temperament) programme which passes down the desirable traits as well as sweet and docile temperament :D~

Ooops! Sorry for the sudden interruption.
Too much of cuteness overload, I couldn’t resist adding on! Duffy’s getting a little jealous with all the attention on these adorable bunnies.

Look at her! She’s giving me the stink eye -.o

But I’ve heard so much about puppies getting along with bunnies!
I thought I would attempt this trick to buddy up the both of them:

Speak soothingly while stroking both of them; it is important not to give either of them more attention than the other at this point.”

Bring them slightly closer. If either one gets excited, retreat and calm them down. Try not to seem as if you are praising them. If they are both calm and friendly, praise them both excessively.”

And I did it! Duffy’s happy again!

She even went on her own accord, sniffing around… in her attempt to make friends:

Since she’s liking it, I brought her for a little more familiarisation with her new bunny friends:

Duffy had so much fun socialising, she was exhausted at the end of the day:

Who? What? Where???

Hehe! I love RHQ and friends~

Thank you so much RHQ, for hosting me and Duffy. We really enjoyed our Sunday evening with you!!!
Duffy’s so tame, she’s easily intimidated by other animals… I’m surprised at how she even took the initiative to reach out and mingle with the bunnies!

My girlfriend would be SO THRILLED if I told her that I’m gonna get her one of the bunnies for her birthday this year :D~
Since the bunny could be Duffy’s best friend too!

But I need your help here!!!

“Which should I pick? The Netherland dwarf or Holland Lop???
And why?”

If you’re interested to check them out, do note that they are opened specially on weekends and public holidays only!
