Deciding on the design of my room, next, is almost as close as picking my other half
– I’m not even exaggerating.

It’s like you would want be waking up to something that is comfortable to your eyes, nothing too fancy that you might eventually get sick of, over time..

So it took me awhile before I finally decided on this concept that would reflect my style (which is a combination of artsy, princessy, classy and eccentricity):

We had initially planned to “frame” up my bedroom with the laminates (which you can see the perspective here: Makeover Part I), creating this unique crib-look to it. However,  I was later advised that it’s actually unsafe to have laminate-flooring mounted onto my walls.

Fortunately though, my designer was innovative enough to recreate the look of my crib:

Still, sticking to the laminates that I fell in love with; the moment I saw it at Evorich, for my platform bed.
An uncommon design that shouts uniqueness; resembling the deck of a pirate ship:

To complete the crib-theme nevertheless, we picked this quilted cushion texture wallpapers from TheWallStory and wrapped up my entire surrounding walls:

Inspired by the Miu Miu Matelassé collection, it’s comfy to touch:

Just like a fashion addict who admires a statement piece, I needed an ultimate one, right in my room. My chandelier’s the new SWAG:

Topping it off, are my bedside’s beautiful crystal lamps that I can no longer live without!
(They are that pair of fashionista’s “earrings”)

So awesomely convenient! No more leaving the lights on or trying to navigate my way through darkness, before reaching the switch that’s always too far away.

Speaking of which, in order to stay in line with the stylishness and convenience, nothing beats my pick; sleekest Eubiq.
I love how my electrical outlets blend in so perfectly, while keeping everything else so nice and tidy!

Even behind my iMac, the television cable port is included on the power track. How cool?

I can simply tweak the adaptor and switch it over to any of my power tracks, if I were to require more plugs at certain areas. Flexibility at it’s best!

My little “indulgence” corner: Vinyl clocks, great sound system from LG and my awards.

But of course, the choice of flooring for my rooms had to be laminate too 😉

The bedrooms’ laminate flooring is of top quality material which is scratch resistant and maintenance free!!!
A clumsy person like me would most appreciate it’s “cushioning effect” that lessens the impact of falls- which means lesser bruises for me YAY~

My proudest acquirement’s secretly my vanity table:

I had it all set up by myself!

Picked the mirror and table, both separately, then piecing them together.

At first, it was a challenge when everything else fits perfectly, except I had no idea how a typical vanity table could have matched my quirky room at all. I went through a strenuous search day and night, all I saw were vanity tables that are mostly too girly or boring.

The only way was to make my own, and so I did:

Moving on, here’s my parents and my baby sister’s bedroom.

Mom likes it classy and simple, hence wish granted:

Abstract flora wallpaper that never gets out of trend. Simplicity’s beauty in the eyes of the beholder:

Now… welcome, welcome!
To the Princess’s room, unabashedly designed by yours truly; me:

(Ps. BIG GIVEAWAY at the end of the post. Read on!)

Needless to say, the second sister desires the ROYAL style…
And Voila~

Ps. All of our gorgeously lush bedsheets are from Mellelow and it’s amazingly affordable!

Handpicked this Annasui-looking wallpaper to compliment the whole royal feel:

Which princess has no chandelier?!
Transparent crystal “candles” are inevitable:

Adding onto the luxury, her restroom’s specially designed with Acoya decking that is high slip resistant and frequently found in hotels!

Yes!!! We converted one of our bedrooms into an open concept wardrobe.

Please don’t mind the ugly hangers for now, I’m still waiting for my beautiful velvet hangers to arrive and replace them (will update and share with you where I got them for a crazy price)

The magnificent royal blood red curtains and dark crystals chandelier gave this extravagance vibe to my walk-in wardrobe!

And not forgetting my plushest LEOPARD PRINTS real fur-like textured wallpaper, that many of you had been asking me about!

Completing it with a BIG ASS full length mirror!

Of course, all these wouldn’t have been made possible without the hard work by my movers from Stridek!

OH MY GOD. Trust me when I say that they are crazily efficient! Within an hour, they finished packing everything for me, and that includes my absurd amount of clothes…. I didn’t even have to budge!

Just sat there while watching all the furnitures and cartons of items shifted away from my sight in no time:

From moving to unpacking, these guys did it ALL, so smoothly~
They even hung up my clothes for me! :O

THANK YOU for following me through this wonderful journey of blood and sweat, to achieve something that I can always be proud of. This $100k worth of sponsorship would have never been possible without everyone’s support :)

A very beautiful house indeed, main highlights would definately be the walk in wardrobe knowing hdb houses spaves is very limited, that is something that makes people green with envy, the beautiful curtains and also very detailed wallpaper textured and also the gorgeous chandeliers.

You have a good choice of pieces, the mirrors really compliment your room well.

Bright, airy princessy feeling, what more you could ask for.

Thanks ThyDowager for sharing part of your life with us!! ❥ ❥ ❥
