Nuffnang 5th Birthday Bash

#SAYWHAT #Nuffnangis5 “It’s been 5 years already?!?!"

Flash-back:
“I was 17 years old when I first embarked on this long journey with Nuffnang (ever since they 1st started).
Becoming their blogger partner was one of the best decisions that I’ve made. It was Ming that convinced me, with his big ideas and goals.
All these that you’ve seen, was just his dreams 5 years ago.
To make blogging a profession or simply earning through writing on your own online journal, used to be a joke to everybody else.”

Today, it has evolved into a popular advertising medium and even, bread and butter for many of us- Bloggers.

And in celebration of Nuffnang’s 5th Birthday,
all talent bloggers/churpers were invited for a nice dinner at Swissotel Equinox Level 69!
With one of the talent manager: Hui Xian

Pleased with the table arrangement, some of my favourites of the bloggersphere:

Boss Ming with his usual power opening speech:

Wide spread of buffet!

With the variety of choice, you can easily tell my favourite cuisine :p

While digging in, we were entertained by the surprise appearance of Chua En Lai from The Noose!
HE IS HILARIOUS.

That Thai accent’s just classic.
When he cued the birthday song, he went: ”Happy Bday to Nuff Nungggg, happy bday to Nuff Nungggg!”
Stage comedy really isn’t easy, but he owned it.

To keep the night going while we catch up with the other bloggers (by catch up, of course I meant cam-whoring),
they’ve got a sweet looking yet happening singer to perform!
Love it when someone dedicated the song: “
Cee Lo Green - FUCK YOU
She asked: “Should I sing the censored version or original one?” But went ahead to sing the original one anyways LOL

The Churpers @Edwininja, @Humsyourlife, @IamNatHo, @OnlyNoah and @Muttons:

Team of Nuffies!

The man behind our success: @BossMing

New and old faces of the blogger industry, coming together for a picture!
Nuffnang’s always a growing family :)

I would also like to take this chance to thank all my loyal readers that have been following me for the past 5 years.
You’ve watched me grow.. have you realized it?

Spending my lazy Sunday afternoon at Barrage

If only I had the luxury of time...
I honestly wouldn't mind spending every weekend like this :)

Most adorable and happy mummy ever- MINE:

My youngest sister who's always like a baby to me.
With the 12 years of age difference, I watched her blossom from a tiny bit to a big girl today:

Kite flying really isn't as tedious as it seems...

Even though our expression and body language spells otherwise

It really is one of the most carefree activity that I enjoy on a regular basis-
reminds me of my childhood memories; those days when Heng parents bring us out for kite flying.
Now that we've grown, IT'S MY TURN!

The process of launching the kite and flying it up to the sky's limit is a simple achievement
that tells a lot about our life journey.

It might be difficult at the start to find the right direction.
Along the way, you need to know when to extend or retract (be flexible) to survive in any industry.
Once you've reached sky high, descending becomes rare.
But you need to maintain and be wary of the competitors around you
(e.g, other kites might tangle or even cut your line, causing your downfall).

Every kite, with a story to tell.
For me, it takes all my worries and stress away

Asked my mum to take a photo of me relaxing on the grass patch...

Hahaha... NG happens all the time, nothing's always perfect ;)

My view...

You might not know, but my family's my everything... Above all priorities, career, love or friends.
Because I know for sure, through the thick and thin, they will stand by me.
Mummy and Daddy Heng

And the baby girl, though annoying at times... But still the only apple of my eye :)

The little things in life that makes me happiest...
What's yours?
