Prior to this, I had accidentally typed “my hairy story” as the title instead.
Don’t laugh! :X
I wouldn’t consider that as entirely wrong either, since it’s really gonna be a post filled with nothing else but hair!
Thanks to the current technology, I can be just like a Barbie doll, constantly making changes to my style with
nothing to worry about. As you know, I’ve made drastic changes recently- chopping off my tresses of many years.
But due to a recent endeavour, it’s time for me to revert back to my dainty look again!

Here’s a final look at my short bob:

Milly’s at Far East Plaza made my transformation possible with real hair extensions :)
Address: 14 scotts road #03-131, Singapore 228213

“100 + 100 (thick quality) free extensions” or “100 + 150 (thin quality)” for just $100!

I also spotted little “Kelly” (Barbie’s kid) with her new pink extension, cute!

Upon completion at the first stop,
I quickly rushed over to my trusty hands at Essensuals Bugis to perfect the look:
241a Victoria Street, Bugis Village
Situated right above Burger King, Tel: 6333 0039

Colouring the hair roots to match the new extensions, making it more natural:

I’ve always wanted to try their Japanese Spa Treatment
because this “blue lights emitting” machine seems super cool:

And here’s to the ultimate results, soft and smooth:

Yea, I still opted for long and silky hair…

Only because there’s room for more changes and different styles all the time!

Don’t you just hate it when you ask for temporary curls
but it turns out to be auntie-ish instead?
I LOVE how they made mine so Japanese-looking!

Hi peggy, after extension how do we care for our hair? Does combing and washing hair be diffcult to do so? How long can it last ah?
@Steph: Hello Steph!!! Happy to see your comment again! You're always so sweet :D
@Anon: Thanks!
@Anon: It's quite easy to maintain actually. I start by washing my scalp, then move on to the ends :) My previous ones actually lasted me for a year or so!
HI Peggy! Hope u r recoverIng well from your surgery:)
I was wonderIng, how long is the hair extension and essensuals promotion going to last? Have been thinking about hair extensions for the longest time! Very tempted to get it done after reading your blog post! Is the hair extensions done by braiding?
Thanks! Stay pretty always!
@Anon: Yeaps it's by braiding! Think the promotion is still on, go soon though :)
Thanks, I will!:) how long does the hair extension take n how long does the hair cut & dye take? Asking to c what time should I book for those 2 places. Will do what u did, extensions then quIckly go cut & dye!
I have fine n thin hair though. A bit concerned whether the extensions will b visible because of my thin hair=/ what do u think?
Are the hair extension in rows/ in Individual bunches?
Thank u so much for answering my never ending questions=P
Braiding takes 2 hours, Hair cut and dye about another 3 hours?
It's fine, they are quite good with hiding the extensions. It's in individual bunches :)
I've called today to book my appointment with both Millys and Essentuals next Sunday! Thanks for the recommendation Peggy! Hope u r recovering well:)
Good luck babe! Hope it turns out great for you too! Let me know :D
Hello, how much did you spend at milly? and how many strands in total? Thank you!
Hey Peggy, it's me again!:) I finally got my hair done last Sunday n it's great!:D The girl at Millys is awesome, she matched the extensions to my hair colour so it looks lIke my own haIr! The hairdresser at Essentual didn't realise I had extensions on as well until he took a good look at my hair. He said it's very natural! He was amazed at the matching colour too. In the end I only had to touch up my roots n trim my hair slightly. Very happy with the results. Thanks for the recommendation Peggy! The only thing that is challenging is washing my hair=\
