Birthday Celebration at Santa Grand

Your life is an occasion, rise to it!

Expect less to get the best. This year, I didn’t even plan for my birthday.
Everything came impromptu.
I won a hotel stay and decided to just gather my friends for a simple celebration.

”I value the friends who find time for me in their calendar.
But I cherish these who didn’t have to consult their calendars.”

It all came as a sweet surprise when many of them actually took time off on weekends for me.
Their presence, really, meant more than just anything.
In the last two years, the focus of my celebration has always been on myself.
This year, my motive is to get my friends to socialize and know each other better :D

Hence, explains my super casual wear:

23rd Birthday’s Hall of Fame:

Old already, no more fanciful cakes.
Just a really nice chocolate cake that kept my friends singing praises!

Maybe I should have a different language for each year? LOL)

Every year when I thought it's pointless to celebrate, you guys prove me otherwise.

People come and go, that's just part and parcel of life. But I thank you all, for being in my life.
For the many of you that have been there throughout half of my 23 years,
and the newly acquainted buddies of mine that grew closer with me in recent year(s).

No matter what I wish for, no matter how far I go...
When I look back, what really matters is these friendships that I've gained and cherish.

"This year, my birthday wish is simple."
That for next year, and the year thereafter, this friendship with you remains.
Forever is cliché, but for as long as I breathe, I want you to be here. And I'll be there ♥




Review on Party Venue: Santa Grand Hotel East Coast, Family Room
Address: 171 East Coast Road Singapore 428877Price: $200++

[Pros] Price: $200++ (breakfast for 3)
Room space, able to accommodate about 50 pax
Family room is situated at the corner, hence reducing noise level and not disturbing other hotel guests
Free parking for residents
Late checkout at 1pm

[Cons] Hotel is not meant for celebration, hence permission has to be acquired beforehand
All guests would have to register at front counter before going to your room
Limited parking lots




There’s a roof top infinity pool too!




Personally, I like it because I haven’t known of anyone that has celebrated their birthday there.
(MBS, Capella etc. is just so over-rated)
I believe that this would be a refreshing venue for your party :)
