Lovely Homely Christmas 2011

Revealing the Winner of
"Vivi-style's Hair Tutorial Giveaway"!

This time, I decided to pick the lucky one with a random draw generator.
Contest ended on 12/12/11, comments after that wasn't included for the draw :)

CONGRATS to Hilary Ang
You've won yourself the 'Elite Model Look' Hair Curler from Rowenta!
Dropped you a facebook message for your collection already- lucky girl

Sweethearts that didn't win this time, please don't be disappointed.
I still have many more gifts to give away! 2 more hair curlers and lots of makeup.

My apologies for the late update on Christmas, was extremely swamped up with my new job.
You probably don't know, I've been full time blogging for a year already.
Being in a corporate job now requires quite a bit of adjustment.

But all's good, I'm more or less getting used to it. So no worries, I wouldn't neglect my blog!

♥ ♥

Back to my Christmas celebration!

It was simple, nothing of the extravagance sort, but just as we love it.
My first time experiencing a domestic-style festive celebration.

Our personal chef whipping up a delectable spread for the night:

And we have a hungry Jack in his Christmas Hat, exhibiting his love for this merry season:

The special menu:

First up, not on the list's a surprise prepared by Jordon, Parma Ham with Melon!
Super easy but impressive~ Squeeze some lemon juice on them and get ready for a mix of sensational explosion in your mouth!

Garden Salad with fish roe and fat slices of sashimi!

Self-made cream of mushroom-in-chunks soup! Even better than restaurant's standards:

Unfortunately, the Prawns Aglio Olio didn't meet my expectation because they bought the angel hair accidentally.
I'm very particular when it comes to Aglio Olio; huge fan!

But it's fine, because I'm quite full from the first few dishes by this time :X

Here's the bf's first attempt with Turkey! Surprisingly better than just being edible:

The Turkey's so tough, no wonder people only have it once a year.
Probably my first and last experience with it.

I have no idea why, but since young I had this weird impression that log cakes taste terrible.
I guess it's because Winnie's birthday's on Christmas and my parents would get her a birthday cake instead, and they decided to brain wash me that log cakes are terrible so that I wouldn't ask for it?

Lol, only this 2011 that I gave it a try and realized it was pretty much just like chocolate ice cream!

Presents unveiling time~
Lots of gifts under the beautiful Christmas Tree!
Bf's present from me arrived late, so you wouldn't see it here.

I used to get Xmas presents for my gfs too.
But there was once when some cheapskates decide to take with no exchange, that I stopped this culture.

Pardon the ugly green masking tapes 'cause the boys ran out of adhesive tapes:

Our baby boy Jordon received an uber adorable Domo Passport Holder
from the BF!

While little Jack received an E-ciggerate from Jordon, how nice!

JM got just what he needed, Alcohol Mixer from the BF:

And it's my turn to unwrap the much anticipated gift from the BF:

Love it!!!

My spanking new pink colored android tablet:

Jordon got me these unique earphones for better hearing pleasure,
while watching videos on my new toy:

Guess what the BF receives from Jordon that got him all excited?
A clock that he chose for himself just so that he can wake up for school. LOL

Drama Mama only... Like a gay:

Think I'm quite over pampered this Xmas (Good Karma)
Even Auntie Susan got me shopping vouchers to get what ever I want!

After which, we proceeded with our all time favorite past time:

Then the boys suggested Risks... OH LORD is this game draggy.
It went all the way till dawn breaks and we still had no final winner o.O

Last but not least, ending my Xmas post with the cutest note book ever; Jordon gave to me!

You were given life; it is your duty to find something beautiful within life,
no matter how slight. I hope you're happy too
