BBF took us out on a dinner surprise that I planned.

I totally expected her to have guessed that I'm bringing her to MBS,
hence I picked "Long Beach" instead, a place that we used to feast at occasionally.

This definitely brought back a lot of memories:

But I was entirely drained from the whole day of work, I fell asleep.

You called me only 1.5 hours later after you painstakingly did this up all by yourself.

And you said: “Princess, come to the window now.”

 

When I asked, why “PEY” and not “PEG”?

You responded: “Huh, but PEG is just half of you, I love you as a whole.”

 

After filling my heart and soul with love,

my stomach was also satisfied by the best hokkien mee ever that you queued up for!

And little did I know, you brought me there on this very special day:

 

The cable car service was stopped for a year for rebranding,

hence I was totally oblivious that it’s up and available already!

 

We had to hold onto our champagne glasses before boarding? (Honestly, rather dumb.)

And boys are boys, extremely sensitive to camera’s flash!

They just can never keep their eyes opened :p

 

 

Surprise surprise!

It’s my very first sky-dining experience in the Jewel cable car ride:

 

 

He made a reservation for the Diamond Set;

that’s also the only menu available for weekends.

Absolutely engrossed with the scenery than to pay attention to the food at all:

 

 

Honestly, the food is nothing to shout about, so is the service.

Layout was simple, tasted like nothing up to the expectation; considering the monetary value.

But it’s our life time experience; memory that we’d always treasure- truly every penny worth.

 

 

Feeling like I’m at the top of the world:

 

 

After several rounds, came the sweet dessert:

 

 

While I was busy with the dessert,

you were already grinning from ear to ear with the bouquet you took over from the waiter.

Just as I looked up:

 

I was literally blown away…

You gazed at me with those eyes that sent me to clouds nine,

while you narrated your “2 pages of confessions”.

 

I couldn’t help but blush at every single one of your heartfelt words :)

Everything from how we first met, to how we dated, how you adored my every action and how my mood could affect yours.

That you’ve fallen in love with me.

 

 

You asked me to be yours, and to allow you to treat me like a little princess.

I said yes.
