Pre-Xmas Celebration at DESARU!
Woke up abruptly by my body clock to realize that we’ve missed our ferry time by an hour!
Luckily the bf had a backup plan and drove us there instead :)
Rino’s pretty fast and we reached within 3 hours!
(If you haven’t realize, Rino’s the nickname of his car)
I always have a thing for resorts, the laid-back feel.
In the mood of Christmas season!
The Pulai Desaru.
Nice accommodation though pathetic customer service.
No towels nor toothbrushes were provided in the room and we had to request for it?
They claimed that they don’t provide toothbrushes, hence we went to purchase our own.
But the blur us totally forgot about the toothpaste!
Hence, I called up the counter and asked if they could help.
After bugging them for quite a bit, they finally relented and gave us The Pulai Desaru’s customized toothbrush sets?!

The bf had so much fun going against the waves, trying to fling me out of the Jetski.
Realized that I’m in the front now? We took turns of course! Hehe.
After washing up, it’s time for dinner and fireflies!
We came across cows & bulls, but the bf couldn’t pull over for picture as it’s pretty dangerous :(
Thankfully there’s a beautiful meadow field to make up on my loss!
Sorry, I can’t resist! They turned out like MTV scenes!

Fresh water fish! Super sweet and tasty!
We’re like the VIPs there, just the two of us feasting it out!
After meal, we’re ready to set off for fireflies!
Huge river cruise!
BBF’s first time watching fireflies :D
Multi-tasking friendly staff! Serve food & take us out to the waters!
Unfortunately, the river cruise’s too big, hence it was nothing comparable to the fireflies experience in Bintan.
We took a small speedboat and the fireflies literally surrounded us back then.
Still, everything’s just perfectly romantic with the BF :)
At least I caught a firefly and show it to him!
Back to our resort for a good rest, till tomorrow!
