'09 Xmas Date Part I

'09 Xmas Date Part I

My first time helping someone to set up Xmas tree!

I wish upon this little tree,

that Xmas next year would be equally awesome or even better!

He came by, waited for me to finish preparing/dolling up for this festive season

and surprised me with a bouquet of pink roses to match my dress.

Sweet!

Taking me out for romantic dinner:

Pretending to be serious :X

Arrived at the restaurant; Sapphire, located at Mount Faber:

There we are, seated beside the viewing area:

After choosing our main course from the Winter Set Menu,

it was presents exchange time!

Silly happy boy grinning to himself!

Overjoyed and surprised to receive the 1st item on his Xmas list (:

MY TURN!

Anything Chanel is loveeee~

Reading his letter to me:

Unwrapping my present!

My 2nd pair of Chanel Earrings!

I have a pair of dangling ones.

Thanks to Dare, now I own the stud pair too (:

This pair of accessories totally compliment my gown:

When you don't have to ask for it:

Appetizer- Duck rillette in spring roulade:

Salad with olive oil and duck meat as the fillings in the spring roll.

Creamy Oriental Veloute Soup:

(While sipping the soup, the "snow" show began and before we could react,

the "snow" fell right into our soups)

Hence, the manager got it replaced:

IT'S SNOWING!!!

Which is in actual fact, foams:

He promised me a white Christmas!

And Tadah~ Gorgeous isn't it?

It's also my first time experiencing it in Singapore style!

Our main courses-

(HIS) Baked Crispy Cod Rolled in Rice Skin

(MINE) Char-grilled Beef Tenderloin

He picked cod fish so that we could have a taste of both.

But obviously, the tenderloin was much more appreciated.

Dessert- Apple, Prune and Butterscotch Compote

Utterly disappointed with the dessert.

First, it's not ice cream. A dessert is not a dessert without ice cream!

Ok, at least for me. But still, I had 1/10 of it.

This was inedible:

After dinner,

we went for a walk to check out the "JEWEL CHRISTMAS MUSICAL LIGHT":

Dancing with the dancing lights~

Dazzling seats which are very tempting for us to have a seat.

Give it a try if you aren't afraid of electrocution

and please share with me about your experience, if you're still alive :X

This beautifully lighted bell can be rang for real!

LOL! Dare is safe with his huge helmet.

One of the entertainment highlights is-

Being able to witness the lighting of Singapore's tallest Xmas Tree!

One of the world’s tallest artificial Christmas trees -

will rise high into the evening sky at The Jewel Box.

Standing 61-metres tall, the Christmas tree is made almost entirely of

120,000 energy-saving LED lights and 180,000 meters of cable.

A stunning structure of lights that flash and change to the accompaniment of music,

the Christmas tree can be viewed in either dazzling proximity from The Jewel Box

or from a far distance; as a shining sceptre to The Jewel Box’s crown.

(LEFT) A picture of this tallest Xmas tree from my view

(RIGHT) Dare that idiotic boy claimed that he has an idea of a gd pic of me with the tree.

And here's the outcome (I've grown a new antenna, how nice):

My favorite part of the musical light:

This is "Part I" on how I spent my lovely Xmas, what about you?

Part II and III coming up next, stay tuned!
