The Formula 1 Adrenaline Rush

It wasn't my initial intention to be involved with this huge event.
Didn't accept any F1 assignments either [I've decided that I won't be doing anything huge with my braces on]

Until I came across the event area while visiting my roadshows,
the temptation came too much to handle.

Luckily Bel dear had booked a room at Marina Mandarin Hotel!

Didn't wanna get drenched with my own perspiration and feel stinky with the rest,
I decided to forgo the tickets offered [from my readers and friends; thanks a lot for being this kind and really sweet!] and went ahead to the hotel instead.

Upon my observation; while exploring around the room,
I spotted the following:

For a moment, I'd thought that those are condoms!
(No pun intended)

I was wondering, "Why did Bel lie so many condoms across the desk?!" :X

Until I realized, OH YA! It's ear plugs.

So we'd put those into utilization.
The blasting sounds from the engine was excruciatingly intolerable even from the 8th storey!

But the view from top was astonishing though!

Ok la, those extremely professional shots were obviously taken by me, NOT.

Credits to the cs-ers who had posted up on the forum!
Do let me know should you be dissatisfied with your pics being posted here.

The following is what I've shot from my humble view:

The crowds below!
Like what they've said, what's a street race
with no supporters/crowd by the side to cheer upon?
They had an awesome view from there as well; the cars would zoom past right in front!

The last picture: There were banners blocking their view; on the fence.
And the public actually tore the banners down, treating it as a mat! BRAVO! LOL.

While I was busy setting up my camera and shooting away:

My busy man, diligently working away on his laptop.
Uni life sucks isn't it?

Then I decided to abandon him and return my focus back to the track!

And I'd managed to capture some passable images,
while the racers strutted down the track in vintage cars, during the opening!

Better shots from the pro:

Can you spot my Hamilton?

More of Hamilton:

Boyfriend finally decided to join me before I drift too far off and
start to fantasize about some other men/racers:

My sizzling bf who completes the other half of my ferris wheel:

**If only he takes such great shots! I want pretty pics too :(((((

Zoom Zoom!!!
Due to the straight lane from our view,
the F1 cars sped past WAY fast, before I could even snap a proper/non-wobbly picture.

Clearer Versions; credits to photographers:

The photographer that Bel had invited to come had some good shots too.
But he was complaining that it's not good enough.

So I had to "sing" along with him in sacarsm (kidding on la duhs~).

I said: "Ya lo, yours not good la, so clear also pointless. Can't see the cars in action.
Your images look as though the cars were parked there instead of racing.
No motion at all! Unlike mine, so got feel~~~"

Eg. The following:

SEE? All the cars seemed beautifully parked (though they were racing).

Unlike these; that are at least, closer to my shots:

Wobbly but more professional compared to mine, of course.

Since ours' straight lane, we'd missed watching the crash, LIVE.
Had to run from the balcony back to the room to watch the play back from the LCD TV.

Did you manage to catch it?

Here's Piquet's CRASH:

You can miss out on the above accident,
but definitely not the scene whereby the fact that...

FERARRI TEAM MISSED OUT ON THE PIPE'S REMOVAL; from Massa's car, after the mechanical adjustments at the pit stop.

So fast and efficient. For what?!

That mistake, had caused Massa's defeat.

He was in the first place from the start, far ahead from the others ok!
I must say, he'd the best potential for victory.

Sighs, I feel for him.
Poor Massa must be planning to slaughter the entire team by now.

Massa was leading throughout,
quite a distance away from the others some more!
That continued for at least 20 good laps!

Check out this video:

At least Hamilton managed to get 3rd~!
Met my expectation (: Hehehe...

1) Champion: F.Alonso of Renault ING
2) 2nd in Position: Nico Rosberg of Williams
3) 3rd in Position: Lewis Hamilton of Mclaren

Lastly,

Best picture of the day:

Race queens for you to ogle at:

My Fav Pictures of the Day!
How can I not have my date for F1?

I will never forget this valuable experience.
Although it really did appear like "Tamiya" to me. Geee.

Mummy I love you.

Ps. Daddy too, of course.

In the morning, I uttered these three words.
Not as easy as it seemed to be, after all.

Pluck up your courage to tell her today,
she ought to know.

I don't care if I'm grown already,
I don't care even if it's embarrassing,
I don't care should you find it disgusting.

I'm never too old.
A baby is always a baby.
So I do love you, like you do.

It's your birthday!

Initial plan was to celebrate together at a restaurant, sharing the cost with Winnie.
However, that sister of mine was busy with car shows and F1
(Poor girl had to work hard to earn more money!).

And since dad had already took his day off and today's mum's actual bday,
we still headed off for a sumptuous dinner at our house downstairs' "Zhi Cha" stall.
Nothing luxurious but hopefully, mummy would appreciate my thoughts.

Finally, the anticipated!

Unwrapping her present:

Weets! Pretty Coach Wallet!
Latest design/collection from Coach.

Handpicked it personally at Coach's DFS today:

I was comprehending if I should get the similar wallet in black; so tempted!
It's yet another month, time to self-pamper again.
And I suck at choosing bday presents, I would usually end up buying for myself instead -.-

Ended up with a red skinny and brown wristlet instead; digging the color combination!
Decided that it's better for me since I could keep my name cards in the skinny as well.

Off to snuggle up with my teddy in bed tonight~

BF's home studying, I bet he's gonna squash my teddy up into a square again if he knows.
He's always green about the fact that I hugged something else to sleep, other than him.
Gee, that boy.

Anyway, we are going to watch
F1 GRAND FINALS TOMORROW!

Away from the scorching sun and crowds.
I'm smiling myself to sleep tonight.

An experience tt Singaporeans had been waiting for 30 years,
missing it and who knows?

My next chance to watch it live in SG might be in my 50's by then.
Of course, should I even still have another chance.

Goodnight Royals.

JoJo; Bestie's Bday

We'd planned for the Bday Celebration as our usual KTV gathering session.
Despite a mere 4 hours of going crazy and laughing along while singing,
the time and effort spent was more than just worthwhile!

Making her wishes, hoping that I would stay pretty throughout the years :DDDD

Jasonz's expression is sucha CLASSIC.
He's obviously jealous that Queenie's closer to jojo in the pictures;
as assumed from his unwilling smile.

The lovey dovey love birds!
Best brand of super glue? The JJ brand (Jo + Jasonz)!

All of us; the singing khakis (Except Tsung. He came after the picture) !

Too bad Darrell & Adam couldn't make it [If you guys are reading this,
you should know what to do. Next singing session on u! :X]

The man behind the scene; manager of Party World!

Helped us by sending the cake in and even gave us complimentary drinks!
Such service makes me wanna go again~ Party party party world!

The 2 third parties.
Best threesome buddies ever~

We love you, Jo!

Our perpetual friendship which had began way 4 years ago.
My babe, who was often mistaken or who posed as my lesbian partner (still rem. you were that tomboy in the past!) had actually bloomed into such beauty!

All thanks to our influence, no? Sheesh.
My shopping/singing/clubbing khaki, who'd never complained about me being late forever.

I'm sure you're reading this.

Even though our paths are of different directions,
Even though you might have accidentally neglected us at times,
Even though I might not have such an important position in your heart as before,
Even though we might not meet up as often anymore,

Our friendship remains sturdy.

Even when the wolf might huff and puff,
it shall stay strong, as it is. Right?

Best friends doesn't come by chance.
And I, cherish.

The day I lost...

Photobucket

Being the glum and grumpy me, aftermath.

Photobucket

I'd almost lost my phone today. Yes, my new W980 from my Co. :(((
Left it at my outlet (Didn't realized initially) and panicked as I was already heading towards my destination.

I then proceeded to make a call to my phone.
And here's the lame conversation with my dealer after he picked up the phone:

Me: Eh, my phone is with you hor?
Him: No.
Me: Then why are you answering My Phone?!

So NOPE, my phone isn't what that I've Lost;
after all, I'd managed to retrieve it back from my dealer by making another trip down.

This is what I've lost:

Yes :( I've lost a tooth... Boohooo.
A fresh and strong tooth!
Sighs, poor tooth; had to extract it due to my braces adjustment.

Extracted it for free though!
Lucky me!!! As my dentist had extracted it for my wisdom tooth's growth!

My cheeks and lips swell from the numbness of the injection, initially.
And soon enough, as the swell goes off,
THE PAIN CAME!

It hurts like Goddamnmotherfc*kingchickenmcnuggets.
I'd almost wanted to cry as I complaint about it to my bf and mum.
Luckily, I fell asleep and when I woke up, the pain went off slightly already :DDDD

At least I have 2 days of MC to cover and could recuperate with this long week-off.
After all I've been working for 5 months already and have yet to take a day off!

Alright, I'm gonna go "fall dead" into my bed now.
And hopefully, I would stop thinking about the hole in my mouth, and so should you (:

Goodnight royals!

Signing off,

The big baby that had lost her big fat tooth
