My Junior School's
Graduation Day

That was when I'm primary six, right after my PSLE.
And as I could still remember vividly,
being an extreme enthusiast about my virgin graduation day,
I'd dolled myself up, dressed with a button halter neck top and pants.

Looking good and more matured than any other kiddos of the age.

So the graduation was dumb.
Not only was it held in that dull and pathetically cramped hall,
all I could remember was the Principal's never ending lengthy speech.









And the very next moment....







"It's The PROM QUEEN'S Award Presentation!~~"
the teacher announced.


Prom
a formal ball held for a school class toward the end of the academic year






Ok, it wasn't even a prom to begin with.
No dance and neither was it formal or held in an exquisite ballroom.


It was just, stuffy and filled with angst.








And BTW, the Prom King's my crush/puppy love.

Ehs, he'd sent me many love letters before ok..
Even gave me a pretty little diary as a gift [which is still kept in my cupboard!]
& we'd sat by the field to chit-chat after sch too!


And that was my first, "never even held that tiny hand; relationship."











And everybody was practically cheering for me during the Prom Queen's award.

So it went, PEGGY, PEGGY, PEGGY, PEGGY
for a good whole minute.

Yes, she'd dressed just like her! At the age of 12!!!
Oh my, Or was she still 6?

Yea, whatever, I'm still sore and sour about it.
I should have dressed as snow black [I'm obviously not white] or something.






I'm gonna go reminisce my primary school days,
with a better graduation than before!

I will "graduate" with EAST HIGH SCHOOL on this Sunday, 19th of October!!!
